(i) : Net force on system of masses
F Net = f 2 – f 1 – (m 1 + m 2 + m 3 ) g = 12N
acceleration =
= 2 m/s 2 (ii) : Net force on 3 kg = 3 × 2 = 6N
(iii) : If normal reaction 2 kg and 1 kg is N then,
N – mg sin θ – 18 = ma
N – 5 – 18 = 2
N = 25N
